Thanksgiving in Houston

We FINALLY made it to Houston to visit Blake and Jamie and their family. We have been waiting for a long time to go visit them. We've heard so much about Houston and where they live and we've always wanted to visit. We now live about 8 hours away, so off we went.

Addi ended up getting this terrible persistent cough but we just had to deal with it. Jamie planned an amazing feast and she's a great cook. We had a great Thanksgiving day starting off with the Houston parade and then home to finish the cooking. The kids played in the pool/hot tub, the weather was perfect.

The next day we went to a movie (The Good Dinosaur) and then Jamie's parents watched the kids and we went to pork chop Friday which is the most amazing plate of food I've ever eaten. Jamie and I did a little late afternoon shopping at Target and got some sweet deals. The next day we went to an alligator park but it was pretty rainy/cold to see any alligators but it was beautiful. We went to the Swinging Door which is the best BBQ I've had.

We did so much eating, playing games, and just catching up.
