Tonight I saw the face of perfection. I sat quietly, alone, transfixed by features and characteristics and charm. The lights were low and there were other people whispering around me, but all of my attention was on her- the way she turned her head and looked at me, and I may have imagined it, but it seemed to me that she was peaceful, content, and maybe smiling. I had taken longer than I should have there, and I knew Jillian would be waiting for me, but I could not tear myself away from the atmospheric shadows and the face of true, perfect, beauty.
Of course, the only moment in the last few days that could surpass that was watching Jillian completely enamored by the same beauty just an hour earlier. and as she held it and became lost in the little life in her arms I knew that our journey was only just beginning.
I would like to introduce you all to Addison Ella Holiday, born Wednesday, September 17 at 3:51 p.m. She weighed 4 lbs. and measured 17.5 inches.
More to come, but I wanted to officially announce it, and let you all know that Mom and Addison are doing very well, actually surprisingly VERY well. I will fill you in on the rest of the story soon!

Congratulations! She looks great! Make sure your wife gets PLENTY of rest, she needs to take care of herself now so that she will be strong enough to take care of your precious little jewel later!

Congratulations! I know you want to bring her home from the hospital, but use this time to rest and prepare. When she gets home life will never be the same. If you need help or advice let us know both of our kids were early also.
I talked to Dawn last night and she said Addison was beautiful and from the pictures she is 100% correct! I am SO glad to hear that Jillian and Addison are doing well. Enjoy each moment - it truly goes by so fast.
