House update

So Steve and I have been blessed with awesome friends throughout our whole life. My old roommate Stefanie and her husband Dustin have been awesome in helping us update our house. Dustin does trim work for a job and he helped us update all the trim, casings, and crown molding in our upstairs. It has helped our house look a little more modern and up to date. We absolutely love it and love them for helping us. Now all we have to do is caulk, spackle and do some touch up painting and it will all be complete. Here are a couple pictures of what it looks like. The first picture is a corner in our living room and the second picture is a corner in our bedroom. Also, Dustin's dad is coming by tomorrow to give us a bid or ideas on how we can get the wood paneling out of baby's room. We can't wait to be rid of wood paneling!!




Today Steve and I went out to check out the Labor Day sales at a couple furniture stores and we found this great deal on a small pub table. When we saw it we knew it would be perfect for our living room- we'd be able to keep it up all the time without it taking up to much room. My only concern was for our little baby who we originally planned on putting in those awesome seats that you just buckle into a chair so they don't take up any extra room, but our chairs are saddle type chairs with no backs, so I guess baby will be eating in a high chair when she gets old enough. We've also already started decorating our house for fall. We've pretty much got the upstairs decked out in fall colors and I have my fall harvest scent going from Welcome Home Aroma, which absolutely makes it seem like fall in our house. If you guys know of any good places close to Idaho or online to get fall decorations let me know because I definitely need some more. Also, if you know of a good place to get baby blessing dresses as well.
