Just Because

Steve told me it was my turn to post since I still haven't written about my week in Palm Springs California. Really there isn't much to tell other than I worked 94 hours from Monday to Sunday, got really sick with a horrible upper respiratory infection had to call my mom to ask one of her DR. friends to call me in a prescription which he did thank goodness! Really I just worked and worked, on Friday I did get 1 1/2 hrs to myself to go sit by the pool which I'm still debating if it was a good idea. I just have to tell you what I saw. First thing Palm Springs is a retirement community so of course there are lots of ELderly people there, which is just fine I LOVE THE ELDERLY!!! I was at the pool talking to Steve on the cell phone, this nice little ELDERLY man walks by with his wife, he is wearing white, very thin swim shorts (IF YOU WEAR WHITE AND IT GETS WET YOU CAN SEE THROUGH IT, DO THEY TEACH YOU THAT IN SCHOOL???????) My thoughts are I sure hope the that he doesn't get in the water, I'll cut the suspense right now and tell you he didn't get in the water, but you could see through his shorts and see his scalloped pair of white thongs, yes a man thong it was absolutely horrible, I was telling Steve about it on the phone but I needed some witnesses, so some of my co-workers came down and met me at the pool, I had told them about the incidence and they kind of laughed it off but in my mind I was thinking come on walk by again, he did something better than that, a little duck came walking by the pool so he decided he would throw his shoe at the duck, then he had to go pick up his shoe which meant we got more than we bargained for. That honestly was the most exciting thing that happened, remember I only had about 10 hrs of sleep so far that week and 4 meals so this was beyond histarical for me. On Friday night we had a theme night party that always ends in dancing, you'll see me doing the sprinkler, yes even though I was tired, I still had some moves to share.
I came home on Sunday and slept all day, woke up for dinner went back to sleep and did the same thing on Monday. It was so nice to be home with my little hubby, he is such a hard worker and had the house clean and painted. He treats me like a queen so of course I love to be home. I missed not seeing him that whole week but I was so excited to come home to him. We have spent a lot of quality time together along with our puppy Dempsey who is adorable.
