I watched Oprah last week and learned a lot about child pornography and also about sex offenders. The Adam Walsh law is going to expire in July of this year and we need congress to renew and also fund this program. This is for the sake of our CHILDREN. We need to protect them to the best of our ability and we need all the help we can get. The world is on a slippery slope and unfortunately a lot of our children are going to be affected. The problem with a lot of these programs are that these acts get passed but the law enforcement never gets any money so they have no way to properly enforce the laws or keep up with them. The Adam Walsh act is basically the online sex offender registery. I know that it is helpful to know where sex offenders live and especially helpful for law enforcement when sex offenders move from state to state, they can still keep their eye on them.
