Christmas 2011 and more

Ahhh, I just can't seem to keep up with life these days! I looked at my blog and I knew I had to get caught up because I've been making blog books and I love them. They are such an incredible family journal for us. So I'm going to try my best to catch up. It took us a couple weeks to get settled into the new house because we were so busy checking out this new city. We went to the Children's Museum the 3rd weekend we were here and Addison loved every minute of it. It was so fun to watch her explore and learn and just be so happy playing. We had a wonderful holiday season. We spent a lot of time with the Herrs and appreciate them letting us intrude on so many of their family events. We've loved having them close by and getting to spend time with them. We love the game nights and nights where we just visit. On Christmas Eve, we decided to stay the night over at their house so that we could wake up with them and see what Santa had brought for everyone. We knew Addison would love being with her cousins and boy did she ever! We woke up at 6:00 a.m. (everyone but Addison; she decided to sleep in) and went down and saw what Santa brought. Let's just say everyone got spoiled this year. We went and woke Addi up about 7:30 and brought her down to see what she received. It was so fun and funny to watch her reactions. First, she asked where her Tangeled stuff was from the night before and then she saw that she got the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 and she said "Santa didn't bring me that, we bought that at Target." We all laughed so hard! We had seen the movie at Target, and it may have been in our cart, but Santa brought this one. We just really enjoyed this Christmas! I love the spirit of Christmas and the peaceful times and spirit of the season.
