A great weekend

On Friday Steve and I left at 11:00a.m to go to Utah for our friend Braden's baptism that was happening on Saturday. We noticed our tire was a little flat so we stopped to get air in it at a gas station but they didn't have any air so we decided we'd go to the next gas station that was off the I-15 a couple miles down the road, so we get going about 70 mph and then all of the sudden there was this noise and then Steve jerking the car so he slowed way down and pulled to the side of the road where we got out an inspected the damage. THe damage was a completely blown out tire, there was barely any tire left at all, there was just a pile of black rubber on the highway. So we called Big O tires to come rescue us and they did but it did take 2 1/2 hrs for us to get on the road again. We made it to Utah safely! Of course I had to stop and look for a pair of work pants and work shirts for my upcoming event in Palm Springs, so we went to a couple malls and had a pretty successful shopping trip. We got down to Highland about 10:00p.m and we found out that Brian (Steve's brother) was in town from Wyoming so we were going to just stop by and visit for a few minutes, so we went stopped and visited and then they started trying to get us to take one of their puppies, so we had to go out and look at them, so when we went out there were 5 adorable little black puppies and we decided upon seeing them that we would be taking one home with us the next day. We had to pick one out the next morning and then we went to Sandy to meet up with Braden for a few minutes and then we went over to the church for his baptism. The baptism was great, Braden is such a great person and I respect him so much, it was great to see him so happy. We also had a great time visiting with all of the friends as well. After the baptism we headed back to Highland to go get our little puppy. We just put him in a little crate and we drove the 4 hrs home, he was such a good dog. He had no accidents in the car and he just slept. He is 8 weeks old, he is half black lab and half border collie. His dad the border collie is straight from Scotland. He is such a cute little puppy.
