Since Tucson is relatively close to California and Tucson is super lame
when it comes to the 4th of July which is one of my favorite holidays we
decided to take a quick trip to Sea World. We spent the 4th of July in
Sea World, we were there from about 11a.m. until 10:00p.m. it was a long
day but it was such a fun day. Both the kids did so well and seemed to
enjoy themselves. We enjoyed the cooler temperatures and the humidity.
While we were in California we spent some time in La Jolla down at the
beach there. Our friends from Phoenix happened to be in San Diego the
same time so we were able to meet up with them and catch up for a bit.
We visited the Mormon Battalion museum and the San Diego temple grounds,
it was all amazing and so beautiful! It was a pretty quick trip, but a
fun trip. We needed a little family get away. We came home to a massive
monsoon and we enjoyed being home for that.
