Summer in Colorado

I feel like this summer has just flown by! I keep looking at all the pictures I've taken and I get overwhelemed because I haven't been great at keeping up with everything going on! I'm going to try my hardest to remember everything, at least the important stuff. We did a lot of traveling this summer, trying to escape the heat, but if followed us. Our first trip was in June. We went to my parents' house in Colorado and met up with my sister and her kids from Idaho and also my brother and his family. We went to help prepare for my youngest sister's wedding and give the kids a chance to play with all of their cousins. Unfourtunately, Colorado had one of its warmest summers and the temperatures were well into the 100s most days. We were still able to play outside and in the swimming pools! Addi and I left on Monday, June 11th in the morning from Tucson about 4:45a.m. and arrived at my parents a little after 10:00p.m. that night, a trip I don't care to drive alone ever again! The kids had a blast playing together and being with their grandma and grandpa. They played hard each day. They loved the trampoline, swimming toys, dress-up clothes, and the playground across the street. Addison's favorite thing was the grass. This little girl misses grass. I'm so grateful that I was able to go and spend that time with my family. I'm so grateful for family. Most of the grandkids with grandma & grandpa
