4th of July

On the Fourth of July, Addi and I got up early, early so we could surprise Steve and be home from Colorado early enough to celebrate the evening with him. We drove the 10 hours home and ended up getting home about 1:15p.m. Steve was great, and helped us get unpacked, played with Addi, and let me get some rest. We then went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and then to downtown Tucson to watch the fireworks. We were so excited because we love fireworks and Idaho Falls has the BEST fireworks ever-- it's a full 30 minute show choreographed to music from a live symphony. We were told that Tucson's wouldn't be much, but we were still shocked at how disappointing it was. I just kept saying "We aren't in Idaho anymore" over and over. I couldn't believe the kind of people that were down there. It was so trashy and rude. We left pretty early and headed home so we could light sparklers with Addi.
