We are fair people

We sure love a good fair. So what?? I think Steve and I both equally love fairs. We love to people watch, to see the booths, the sideshows, and a few rides. We were kinda nervous about the Tucson fair because there are lots of weird interesting people here in Tucson. There are many times I will go to a new place somewhere in town and I just think "Wow, I'm not in Idaho anymore." We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly suprised. The fair was actually one of the better fairs we have been to. The fairgrouds were so clean, everything was organized really well with plenty of walking room and shaded seating to eat. The best parts were the petting zoo and the carnival. They had brought in so many good rides for kids and adults. I liked that the kids section was mostly separate from the adult rides, except for a few. Also, the local grocery store sells carnival tickets for $1.00 per ride, so we got a $20.00 coupon and my inital thought was, "Oh well, Addi can ride like 5 rides if they cost 4 tickets each." It just didn't sink in to me that Addi could ride 20 RIDES!! So the majority of our time was spent on the rides. We were trying to blow through our coupons so we wouldn't waste them. So Steve and I rode a few rides with her, but most of the workers said "oh, we don't charge adults," which is sooooo nice but at the end we were ready to be done with rides. We met up with our nieces and nephew and we rode a couple rides with them. We love having them close to us and Addi thinks that she is sooooo cool when she hangs out with them. She already acts like she is 16. We ended up being there from 4p.m. until 10p.m. We love exploring and really enjoy Tucson because I feel like there is soo much to do here and that we will never get bored because they have sooo much going on all the time.
