It also happened to be the same day as our 6 year wedding anniversary and I just want to say, I really lucked out with Steve he just amazes me everyday (ok, i won't lie most days) he is so kind and loving and truly loves Addi and I. He is the hardest worker I have ever met and would do anything to make my life easier. I love him more and more each day. I appreciate what a wonderful father he is to Addi. She just adores her dad and spends almost every evening waiting for him by the window. We love you Steve-o!
I'm still training for the dang half marathon and it is killing me, at first I was so sure that I could do it but that is when I was running low mileage now that I've done my 8, 10 and soon my 11 miler, my attitude has changed this running is kicking my butt. I keep waiting for all this weight to start falling off too but I guess I have to be more patient. I happen to be married to the best man in the world who is so supportive of me and this goal that I've made. My first 8 mile run I was surprised half way through when him and Addi came and found me in the car and cheered me on. I could've died, it was so sweet. Then on my 10 mile run they came again and brought water :) I wish he had a jacket to because I was super cold it was only 25 degrees when I left and 42 when I got home and I chose to wear shorts and short sleeves. Anyways, race day is April 16th. 1 month baby!
Addi is just the best 2 year old you could ask for and obviously the cutest too. She never gets in trouble or causes any problems (so that last part is a lie). She is so much fun and my little buddy, she just plays and plays and talks and is so cute. We were at Leo's place a couple weeks ago and she got lost no one could find her and then about after 10 minutes of looking for her, there she was just walking around by the salad bar, I was shocked we had looked everywhere, and then a not so nice woman came and asked if she was mine, and I said yes and she proceeded to tell me Addi was outside of the building and the lady brought her in looking for her mother but of course I was running around looking for Addi and she couldn't find me, it was implied by her tone and looks that she thought I was the worst mother alive. Addi is so curious and just likes to explore, we later found out that there are these back doors that aren't locked and Addi must have let herself out. Anyways, she is alive and well and we couldn't be more in love with her.
We are so enjoying all the time we have as a family and counting our blessings daily and thanking our Heavenly Father for what we have.
The birthday girl. KATHY
Addi and her friend Valerie
Addi, Nathan, and Carson. Addi REALLY likes Carson, she always talks about him
after my 10 mile (no i didn't ask to have pics taken of me but I'll put them up)
the paparazzi captured the end of my 8 miler
Addi loves to dress up
cuteness
Loves a good book
Loves her Aunt Shayla
Loves to go for rides
Loves her monkey she inherited from Grandma Bonnie. She put it around her neck herself. Also, found that pacifier herself
Addi put make-up on in front of the mirror, interestingly only one eye. She wore it all day, wasn't worth the fight to take it off
