Spring Break was a bust

My sister and her kiddos made plans to come visit us for a few days for their Spring Break and we had so many fun things planned. They got here Friday night and were going to stay until Wednesday until Addi woke up with a little cough Saturday morning. The cough just kept getting worse and worse as the day went on so we left little Addi home with Steve and the rest of us went out to get some things done. Addi seemed to be feeling better when we got home and so the kids all went downstairs and played and the adults just hung out upstairs and visited and ate and visited some more. Sunday we went to church and Addi's cough had come back so we decided we'd just leave, so we came home and made lunch and the kids played some more. We went to the Temple visitor center to see the exhibit that was there. It was AMAZING beautiful photography and portrayals of the Savior. The kids were getting ready for bed and we noticed Addi was hot, she was 102 degree's hot. At that point Amanda decided she would pack up the kids in the morning and head home so that all of her kids would not get sick. They left Monday and I was sad because we were all having so much fun but I totally understand. She called me Wednesday and ALL the kids were coughing and had the same symptoms as Addi. I felt really bad but what can you do. Hopefully next year we will be able to do the same kind of thing without the sickness!
