My first cereal

Addison had rice cereal for the first time on Monday, March 2. She did so well! I was told to really make it thin and so it was very thin and it was so much fun to watch her try to figure out what was going on. Her occupational therapist wanted to see how she was doing so I made up a bowl for her on Wednesday and she told me it was way to thin, so i thickened it up a bit and man she did a lot better with that. She also had me add some applesauce to help with the flavor and I think Addison enjoyed that. She still has a really hard time sitting still and keeping it in her mouth but we have so much fun every time we feed her. She always wants to put her hands in her mouth in between bites so it can get pretty messy. We probably are going to wait until we get back from California to start her on real solids, like veggies. Enjoy the pictures they are of her first and second time eating rice cereal. The second time she figured out how to rub her bib in her face so that made a HUGE MESS!

This was her first time trying this stuff

Look at this mess, she just doesn't want to sit still

These are the 2nd day

I just like to snuggle with my bib!

Ah I've gotta miss those days. Love the rice cereal so cute. I used to have to mix the rice cereal with the veggies Mase didn't like by themselves. It always worked. :o)
