We're Back from the World!!

What a week! We're still coming down from the high of exploring another exciting corner of our world. We swam with the sting rays, soaked up the sun, ate more food than anyone should be allowed, toured Mayan ruins, and swam the in clearest oceans and walked the finest beaches in the world. Where do you start with something like this? How about with some pictures!

It was so nice to escape the world for a few days with our friends Ben and Erin, and to just not have any worries or cares. I had forgotten what it was like to not have access to phones or the internet, or cars.

Yes, that is a stingray underneath us!

We even had the chance to dress fancy, and eat dinner (everything from prime rib and duck, to es cargo and lobster, not to mention chocolate cake to die for!)

and see Broadway quality shows and great comedians and impersonators (I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!)

But sometimes the best part of the day was coming back to our room after a long day of doing anything and everything and finding the towel animals.

For anyone considering it, don't let the realities of life hold you back. Once you choose to do it, you will be glad you did. And for those of you thinking how financially irresponsible a cruise is, sit down and add up gas, hotel, airline tickets, park admission, rental cars, driving time and map juggling time, restaurant choices and prices, and the many other things that go into a summer vacation, and you will quickly see why so many people say that a cruise is the best family vacation you will ever take (and they even have programs for children).

In the end, even though our hearts are still in the Caribbean, we are excited to be home. We have a full summer of family, softball, huckleberry hunting, and getting ready for our new addition ahead of us! And none of that is worth missing. So if you find your way through Idaho Falls in the coming months, stop in--we have plenty of stories, and Mexican vanilla to share, and so many adventures right here in the mountains of Idaho to still explore!

Gosh, I am soooo jealous of you guys! It looks so wonderful! So, I just found out from the cruise line that they have a rule that they don't allow anyone to go past 24 weeks of pregnancy, which means we couldn't get prego before the middle of July, and I highly doubt that. I'm sure we will be pregnant by then. So we don't know what to do! We are soo torn! The timing sucks!

Yay! I'm so glad you guys converted to cruising. Next time invite us too so we don't book a separate cruise! :)

see the thing about it is, even if we decided now not to try until after the deadline, I was just ovulating 2 days ago (I'm sure everyone reading this wants to know that!!!) and we tried...so there's a huge possibility I am right now, but we wont know for 2-3 more weeks and they need to book the tickets now. the main thing is the plane tickets. we figured out that if we were and we had to back out, we'd be out about $800...so is it worth that risk when there is a huge chance I will be? And if not now, the next two months?

so we have done a ton more research and we decided ways to be able to save that money if we can't go so we went ahead and decided to book it! We are just going to stop "trying" the next 2 months...we'll see...
