Shayla turns 21

Yup, you heard me right my "baby sister" turned 21 June 10th and my other "baby sister" turns 23 in August. The little girls are growing up but will never out grow their titles!
So Shay is going to school in Rexburg so I had to throw her a real hoedown to celebrate, but I also had to keep it pretty G rated because I knew my mom would be seeing pictures and hearing all about it that is lame, and trashy so I put down the beer goggles at the party store and put away all the fake shot glasses and all beer related peraphenelia and was on my best behavior. If you know me, you know I like to throw parties, plan any type of event so I got a little carried away and had to control myself. It's just that I love my family and want the best for all of them.
Now for the details. Shayla had some friends come over, she has gorgeous, sweet, and loving friends. She opened presents, Ryan NeilSmith led us in an interesting awesome birthday song, we had triple layer german chocolate cake and just visited and enjoyed the party!

Shay thinks she is so "country/hick" and prides herself in that, BUT she also thinks she is straight up gangster as well, a bit of an identity crisis but we love her the same. She relates EVERYTHING to country songs, it's quite hilarious. We even went to listen to her speak and she incorporated a Garth Brooks song very well into her amazing talk. Shay and I are very alike in some ways, we speak our mind when we probably shouldn't,(self control, ZILCH) we fight for justice in wrong situations, we are passionate about our sweet litle family and if you mess with one you will be messing with us ALL. I love living vicariously through her and enjoy turning into a college student again every time I'm around her. Steve doesn't love that part so much but I CAN'T HELP IT, I PROMISE!

We all just love her and will enjoy every minute we get to spend with her!
