Summer Days

It just seems that there are more summer moments that make each day worth diving into than any other time of the year. We have a very crazy summer ahead of us--the Smith Family reunion, my 10-year high school reunion, two separate wedding for two very good friends- one in Colorado and one in Utah, a playwright showcase that I've been accepted to, the Melaleuca Convention in Orlando, and at least a half dozen or so hikes, innumerable walks, maybe a visit to a ghost town, and perhaps even a concert.

But the moments that I look forward to the most are the little ones we are lucky enough to capture with Addison. We finally got our new camera up and running and we LOVE it! Gone are the days of blurry takes and anything less than perfect pictures. Here are a few examples:

Addison likes to play with her toys while I get ready for work. And she is SO happy in the mornings!

Addison enjoying the swing, even though most of the time she is largely expressionless, almost comtemplative. Maybe the swing is her meditation place.

See what I mean.

She's learning. Pretty soon we won't be able to contain her!

She LOVES her biter biscuits. She makes a huge mess, and if she drops it, she becomes so concerned.
