Exercising or Not
Addison has an occupational therapist come every week and help her do some exercises so she'll develop on time like she would have if she was born on time. Right now she is struggling with her eyesight and with her legs. It is pretty common that premies have tight hamstrings and so they chose not to crawl because it hurts and they can't stretch their legs that way, so we are working on stretching her hamstrings multiple times a day and also carrying her facing outwards with her legs scrunched up. Addison is showing strong signs of wanting to stand already and I'm told that is not good, that I want her to crawl, so for right now no exersaucers or no johnny jump ups, I guess it is important for kids to crawl who knew? I just thought she'd be a genius if she skipped that stage and just started walking. Anyways we love Melissa (her occupational therapist) she is really getting to know Addison and learn that she has an attitude. Melissa told me today that Addison has her fake cry down and that she is already a little dramatic. We still lover her though. You'll have to watch this video, and look at these pictures you'll see how hard Addison worked out.

Wow I didn't know that about crawling either! I have heard of babies who skip that stage and start walking...I always thought it was because they were just smarter or something! By the way, I couldn't watch the video because it wasn't loading...either my internet sucks or one true media sucks. :)
poor thing look at her trying to sleep sitting up. I might have to turn you in. ha ha..j/k
p.s. I wonder who she gets the dramatics from? Hmmmmm.....
Oh, she looks like she is doing so good! I love her chubby cheeks...those are my favorite...and baby buns!
Haha oh that is too funny! sweet little thing.
So adorable! I'm glad you guys were able to go visit your Grandma and got home safely! Let me know when you need me to watch your little cutie. Good luck with pics on Saturday!
