All's Fair at the End of the Summer

So we came home from Vegas to find that summer had ended in Idaho. The realization was, thankfully, gradually thrust upon us as we travelled from the 107 degree weather of Las Vegas, to the 74 degree weather of Provo, and finally to the 63 degree weather of Idaho Falls.
I will be the first to admit that I love the mild temperatures of Idaho Falls in the fall, even if they are regretfully WAY too short, so I was looking forward to our 1-3 weeks of the season. The grass has stopped growing, so there is no mowing the lawn, but it is still warm enough to play at the park and have evening walks.
But this week was fair week, and nothing was going to keep us from the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Luckily the weather was cooperative and we had PERFECT climate for a day outside.
You could say we splurged a little, but you can't go to the fair without getting a Navajo taco, and a Bullseye Burger (a BBQ bacon cheeseburger on a glazed donut instead of a bun), and fried onion peels, and a funnel cake, and a chocolate drizzled strawberry kabob. I chose to forego my annual turkey leg this year, but we all had so much fun strolling the fairgrounds together, watching the hypnotist, letting Addi ride a train pulled by a four-wheeler, running into some old friends, and finding the perfect new treasures for our home.

Got to take them if you get em
